The 5th Annual Pumpkin Patch 5K Run is set for Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at 4797 Watermelon Row in Coyanosa. The family-friendly event, sponsored by Team Ferny, will feature a 5K run/walk beginning at 9 a.m. and a free one-mile fun run for kids 12 and under starting at 8:30 a.m.
Registration is $20 in advance (with a T-shirt) or $25 on race day. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group, plus prizes for the kids’ race. All participants can enjoy fresh Pecos cantaloupe and watermelon after the run.
The fun continues with a Family Harvest Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Alvaro Mandujano Memorial Scholarship Fund.
