The City of Presidio is calling on residents to join in a community-wide effort to keep the town beautiful. A Cleanup Day is set for Wednesday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m., beginning outside City Hall.
Volunteers will work together to pick up trash along O’Reilly Street as part of the Make Presidio Beautiful campaign. The city encourages everyone to bring gloves, while other supplies will be provided for participants.
City leaders say the cleanup is a simple but meaningful way for residents to support their community and show pride in their town.
Both English and Spanish invitations were issued to ensure everyone feels welcome: “Please join in cleaning up our Presidio! ¡Por favor únete a la limpieza de nuestro Presidio!”
