Lucia Opens in Downtown Alpine with Authentic Italian Flair

A new chapter in Alpine dining begins this week with the grand opening of Lucia Alpine, a locally owned Italian restaurant at 202 W. Holland Avenue. The restaurant, founded by three women passionate about food and community, will officially welcome guests on Wednesday, September 10, at 5:30 p.m.

Lucia Alpine will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m., accepting reservations for parties of six or more.

The team behind Lucia is already introducing diners to elevated Italian flavors. Recent previews have featured the Tabellone di Lusso—a luxurious spread of Italian meats, cheeses, flatbreads, olives, grapes, and honeyed mascarpone—alongside Ravioli Bolognese, layered with slow-cooked classic bolognese, mozzarella, and baked to perfection.

While the restaurant awaits final processing of its beer and wine license, guests are encouraged to bring their own unopened bottle of wine or beer to enjoy with their meals. For this first week, the team will waive corkage fees.

The founders say they are excited to bring a new dining option to Alpine, blending warm hospitality with traditional Italian dishes.
