Alpine Middle School’s girls athletics program took part in an interactive nutrition class this week, thanks to a presentation by Kayla Castleberry of the West Texas Food Bank.
The session focused on the importance of food groups and how young athletes can best fuel their bodies to stay strong, healthy, and energized. Students also enjoyed a hands-on activity with a build-your-own trail mix station, reinforcing lessons on healthy snacking in a fun and practical way.
The collaboration highlights Alpine ISD’s commitment to promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles among students, both on and off the field.
