Alpine Animal Services is featuring Namir as this week’s Pet of the Week, with a special adoption fee of just $50 through Sunday, September 7. The reduced fee includes neutering, microchipping, a heartworm test, and all vaccinations.
Namir came into the shelter on July 4 after being found loose in the City of Alpine. He arrived with an eye infection and some injuries, but with treatment and care from staff, he has made a remarkable recovery. Now, he’s thriving — showing off his sweet personality and playful, goofy side.
While Namir can be a little unsure around larger, high-energy dogs, he does great with pups closer to his own size and temperament. He enjoys walks on a leash, followed by tug-of-war games with it, and quickly wins hearts with his gentle demeanor.
