Dozens gathered on Monday in downtown Fort Davis for a Labor Day demonstration organized by Democrats from across the Tri-County area.
With signs reading “Stand With All Workers” and “Democracy Not Royalty,” participants lined the street in front of local businesses, calling for stronger support of labor rights, honesty in government, and protections for working families.
The event was part of a rotating schedule of demonstrations across the region. Organizers described the turnout as “fantastic” and the atmosphere as “electric,” with live music by Stephen Bright adding to the energy.
“People from across the Tri-County area came together with powerful signage, strong voices, and amazing spirit,” organizers posted. “Everyone stood united, and made this such a memorable event.”
Local Democrats said the effort reflects a growing push for community, unity, and action in support of workers and democratic values.
