The Big Bend Regional Hospital District board voted Monday to begin broadcasting its meetings online, though public comments will be limited to in-person participants.
The change comes after debate over how best to allow public engagement while preserving order during meetings. The motion was introduced by board member Valynda Henington and passed after legal review with district attorney Jennifer Claymon of Reed and Claymon.
Meetings will be available to view online, but remote viewers will not be able to comment unless they attend in person.
