Pecos County Deputy Returns Home After Three Weeks in Hospital

Deputy Chelsey Rose of the Pecos County Sheriff’s Office has been released from the hospital and returned home to Iraan after a three-week stay following a shooting incident.

A multi-agency escort accompanied Deputy Rose on her return from Midland County, involving the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, Upton County Sheriff’s Office, Upton County Fire Department, Upton County EMS, Iraan Fire Department, Pecos County EMS, and the Pecos County Sheriff’s Office.

Pecos County Sheriff Cliff Perkins expressed gratitude to all agencies involved, including Sheriff Criner of Midland County, Sheriff Griffis of Ector County, Sheriff Brown of Upton County, Sheriff De La Garza of Crockett County, and the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The case remains under investigation by the Texas Rangers.

Rose is now home and recovering.
