The Boquillas Port of Entry, which provides access between Big Bend National Park and the village of Boquillas, Coahuila, Mexico, will transition to its summer operating schedule beginning Monday, May 5.
Summer Hours:
🕘 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
📅 Open Friday through Monday
📅 Closed Tuesday through Thursday
During the current transition week, the port will remain open daily through Monday, May 5. It will then close from May 6 to 8 before resuming its new four-day weekly schedule.
Visitors may cross the Rio Grande by foot or rowboat during operating hours. No vehicle or commercial crossings are permitted. A valid passport is required for U.S. and Canadian citizens. Travelers from other countries may need additional documentation.
