The Center for Big Bend Studies at Sul Ross State University recently returned from the Society for American Archaeology (SAA) Conference in Denver, where staff shared exciting news about Sul Ross’s new Master’s in Anthropology program.
The conference provided an opportunity to connect with students, professionals, and fellow archaeologists from across the country. Representatives from the Center promoted the university’s growing anthropology offerings and engaged with attendees at the Sul Ross booth.
Organizers called the event a success and said they are enthusiastic about the future of anthropology at Sul Ross, especially with the launch of the new graduate program.
