Law enforcement officers captured a suspect without incident Thursday morning, April 3, following reports of gunfire in Presidio.
According to Chief Deputy Joel Nuñez Jr. of the Presidio County Sheriff’s Office, the individual was arrested at approximately 9:45 a.m. just south of the track field after fleeing the initial scene on foot. Multiple agencies responded quickly, including U.S. Border Patrol, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and officers from the Presidio Police Department.
