Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is hiring two full-time Food Service Workers (Waitstaff) to serve at the Black Bear Restaurant located at Indian Lodge in Davis Mountains State Park.
The positions pay between $2,993.27 and $3,136.53 per month and involve 40 hours of work per week with flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, setting and cleaning tables, and assisting with food preparation, dishwashing, and cashier duties.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and have at least six months of food service experience for Food Service Worker II, or one year for Food Service Worker III. A valid Texas driver’s license is required, and new hires must obtain a Food Handler Certification within 30 days of employment.
These positions are authorized to accept gratuities under Texas Parks and Wildlife Code Section 11.0262.
