The Fort Davis Historical Society has announced its 2025 Art Show and Sale, showcasing works that highlight the landscapes, wildlife, people, and structures of Jeff Davis County.
The event will open with a reception on March 1 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Overland Trail Museum, located at 511 N. Fort Street in Fort Davis. The show will run through April 26, with the museum open Fridays and Saturdays from 1 to 4 p.m. or by appointment.
Local artists were invited to submit one or two original works in oil painting, pencil drawing, watercolor, or other media that depict scenes from Jeff Davis County. The exhibit aims to celebrate the region’s natural beauty and cultural heritage.
