Two Marfa chefs have been named semifinalists for the James Beard Foundation’s Chef of the Year: Texas award, recognizing their contributions to the state’s culinary scene.
Michael Anthony Serva, the chef behind the creative Italian sandwiches and dishes at Bordo, and Alexandra Gates, executive chef at Cochineal, earned spots on the prestigious list.
