Progress continues on the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Railroad Secondary Inspection Facility in Presidio, with the foundation being poured on-site.
The facility is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing border security and trade efficiency at the Presidio-Ojinaga international rail crossing. Once completed, the inspection facility will provide CBP officers with expanded capabilities to process rail shipments entering the United States.
The project underscores the significance of Presidio’s role as a key port of entry in West Texas, facilitating trade and transportation between the U.S. and Mexico.
