Fort Stockton High School has named Zekiel “Zeke” Espino, a 12th-grade student, as the Panther of the Week. Recognized for his leadership, dedication, and positive attitude, Zeke has earned high praise from both his coaches and teachers.
Coach Gauna, the basketball coach, described Zeke as “an inspiring individual who excels both in athletics and academics, always maintaining a positive attitude. His dedication, hard work, and infectious energy make him a true role model to those around him. Zeke is a true Panther!”
Coach Perez, a science teacher, added, “Zeke is a delight in class. He works hard and is very attentive. I am glad I have him this semester to help set a good example for his peers!”
Ms. Vidal, NHS sponsor, highlighted Zeke’s involvement in the National Honor Society: “Zeke is a great individual! He is always smiling and positive. He is a current member of NHS and is ready to get involved in whatever he can. He started his senior year with us and feels like he has been here longer.”
