Fort Stockton High School has recognized Abril Guadian, a 10th-grade student, as the Panther of the Week. Abril has achieved remarkable success early in her high school career, excelling both academically and in extracurricular activities.
Dr. McSperitt praised Abril’s accomplishments and leadership: “Abril Guadian has transformed since her freshman year at FSISD. As a sophomore, she has served in the HS Band as Drum Major, which is a noteworthy achievement for an underclassman. She also advanced to the ATSSB Area Contest on clarinet, where she placed 21st for all of West Texas.
Besides these well-deserved appointments, Abril is sincere, dedicated, hardworking, problem-solving, and fair and balanced in nature. She is genuine, unforced, and personable.”
In addition to her role as Drum Major in the Pride of Pantherland Band, Abril excels as an Honors student, demonstrating focus and dedication in all areas of her high school experience.
Fort Stockton ISD commends Abril Guadian for her outstanding achievements and leadership, highlighting a bright future ahead.
