Marfa ISD Discusses New Early Childhood Education Partnership

The Big Bend Sentinel has highlighted a key discussion point from the latest Marfa ISD school board meeting regarding the advancement of an early childhood education partnership. Interim Superintendent Arturo Alferez updated the board on the program’s progress, which involves collaboration with Fort Davis ISD to enhance early childhood learning opportunities. Alferez shared insights from his recent visits to childcare centers in Houston and El Paso and mentioned ongoing efforts to dual enroll about 37 students, although final agreements have yet to be secured.
