Presidio Independent School District’s (Presidio ISD) Pre-Kindergarten students embarked on a journey last week to learn about the invaluable community helpers in their area. The exploration involved visits to several establishments and institutions that play pivotal roles in the community.

The young learners visited the Recycling Center, Fort Leaton State Historic Site, Fort Davis State Bank, Presidio Post Office, Presidio Police Department, Animal Shelter, and the PISD Administration Building. Through these visits, the students gained insights into the operations and significance of each department and how they collectively contribute to the community’s welfare.
