Davis Mountains State Park will take its search for new employees across the Big Bend region in October, holding three job fairs in Alpine, Marfa and Fort Davis.
Park staff will be available to discuss current job openings, explain the application process and answer questions from prospective applicants. The events are also intended to give job seekers an opportunity to meet members of the park team and learn more about careers at Davis Mountains State Park and Indian Lodge.
The first two events are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10. Park representatives will be at the Alpine Farmers Market from 9 a.m. to noon, followed by a second session from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Marfa courthouse.
A third job fair will be held Sunday, Oct. 11, from noon to 3 p.m. in the historic lobby at Indian Lodge in Davis Mountains State Park.
The park said applicants can attend with questions about available positions and the hiring process. Those interested in applying can also access the Davis Mountains State Park jobs page through the QR code included on the park’s job fair announcement.
The hiring push comes as Davis Mountains State Park promotes employment opportunities for people interested in working in the state park system and in the Davis Mountains area.
