Ojinaga municipal officials and the city’s water utility distributed large containers of purified drinking water to employees working in public services and public works, recognizing their daily work for the city.
Mayor Lucy Marrufo and Alonso Pérez, executive director of the Junta Municipal de Agua y Saneamiento, participated in the distribution along with Municipal Trustee José Jesús García Ontiveros, Public Services Director Octavio Hernández and Public Works Director Ramiro Madrid Chávez.
The municipal government said the water was provided to employees as recognition for their “commitment, dedication and daily work” maintaining public services in Ojinaga.
Officials also thanked JMAS Ojinaga and Pérez for supporting the effort and collaborating with the municipal government.
The city shared photos of Marrufo and other officials personally handing the large water containers to workers.
