Culberson County Sheriff’s Office hiring patrol deputy, offering up to $50,000 salary

The Culberson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking applicants for a patrol deputy position, offering an annual salary of $47,000 to $50,000 plus overtime.

The department announced the opening as it looks for a “highly motivated” officer to serve and protect residents of Culberson County.

The position follows a four-days-on, four-days-off work schedule and includes opportunities for advancement within the department. Overtime is also available.

Applicants must be willing to live in Van Horn during their four scheduled workdays, according to the sheriff’s office. The department said its ideal candidate is disciplined, community-focused and committed to enforcing the law with integrity.
