The Alpine Avalanche is seeking a lead graphic designer to handle design and production work for two established Far West Texas newspapers.
The position will focus on newspaper, advertising and digital design, with applicants expected to have experience using Adobe InDesign. The newspaper describes its ideal candidate as fast, creative and deadline-driven.
The job may be performed remotely or in person in Alpine or Fort Stockton. The Avalanche is considering both full-time and freelance candidates, with the position operating on a Monday-through-Friday, five-day-a-week schedule.
The designer will be responsible for production and visual design supporting the newspapers as well as their advertising and digital products.
