Fort Davis Independent School District will welcome students and their families to campus Wednesday for an open house ahead of the new school year.
The district’s open house is scheduled from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12 and will give families an opportunity to meet teachers and other staff members, tour the campus and learn more about classes and programs offered by the district.
Fort Davis ISD is promoting the event under its “Learn. Grow. Belong.” theme and encouraging families to connect with educators and become more familiar with the school community before classes get underway.
“Come connect, explore & be part of our community,” the district said in announcing the event.
The open house will also provide students with an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming school year and become acquainted with the campus and staff.
The event is open to Fort Davis ISD students and their families.
“Together, we make Fort Davis ISD strong,” the district said.
