First Baptist Church will host a back-to-school celebration for local families from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 15.
The event will include a bounce house, water slide, games, prizes, snacks and drinks. Organizers also plan a water-balloon and water-soaker fight, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own soakers.
The “Back to School Bash” is intended to give children and families an afternoon of activities before the new school year begins.
The event will be held at First Baptist Church, 111 S. Agave St. in Fort Davis.
