The Ojinaga municipal police department has received a new patrol vehicle and equipment through assistance from the Chihuahua state government, city officials announced.
Mayor Lucy Marrufo worked with the state Public Security Secretariat to secure the resources for the city’s Public Security Directorate.
The package includes a 2026 Ram pickup equipped for patrol duties, along with boots, pants, shirts, caps and other official 5.11-brand gear for municipal officers.
City officials said the new vehicle and equipment will improve working conditions for officers and support their daily law enforcement duties.
Marrufo and other local and state officials attended a presentation marking the delivery of the patrol unit and equipment.
