Marfa Independent School District is accepting applications for six instructional positions for the 2026-27 school year.
The district is seeking a welding teacher, first-grade teacher, second-grade teacher, music teacher, instructional aide and special education teacher.
Marfa ISD said the openings provide an opportunity for educators and support staff to work in a small school district and make a direct impact on students.
The welding teacher will provide hands-on instruction and real-world experience for students interested in skilled trades. The elementary teaching positions will focus on building strong academic and social foundations for young learners.
The music teacher will help students develop their creativity, confidence and musical abilities, while the instructional aide will work alongside teachers to support student success. The special education teacher will help create inclusive and supportive classrooms for students with a range of learning needs.
