Alpine Independent School District has named Justin Burrus the new assistant principal at Alpine Elementary School.
Burrus joined the elementary school last spring and has more than a decade of teaching and administrative experience, the district announced Sunday.
Alpine ISD said Burrus has quickly become a trusted leader and has made a significant impact on the school’s students, employees and broader community.
Burrus is also the father of two Alpine Elementary students, giving him a personal connection to the school and its success.
District officials said they look forward to seeing Burrus continue serving the campus in his expanded leadership role.
