Roy Hurd Memorial Airport to host 25th annual Fly-In Breakfast

Roy Hurd Memorial Airport will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its annual Fly-In Breakfast on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The family-friendly event will run from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the airport in Monahans. Pilots from surrounding communities are invited to fly in, while local residents can attend by ground transportation.

The morning will feature breakfast, aircraft and classic cars presented by the Desert Reflections Car Show. First responder vehicles will also be on display.

Organizers said the event is designed for aviation enthusiasts, car fans and families looking for a Saturday morning activity.

Roy Hurd Memorial Airport’s identifier is E01. Its automated weather observation frequency is 118.225 MHz, and its common traffic advisory frequency is 122.8 MHz.
