Marfa City Council voted to schedule a June 30 site visit at Sunset Park with the Parks Board to review a preliminary landscape architect design.
Michael Camacho told council the Parks Board and landscape architect developed a preliminary design and wanted council members to review the plan in person before it is brought forward for formal approval.
Mayor Manny Baeza also noted the Parks Board still needs one additional City Council member.
Council Member Travis Acreman made the motion to schedule the site visit for 7 p.m. June 30. Council Member Emily Kolb seconded the motion, which passed 5-0.
