The Marfa Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing dog named KOE, who was reported missing Saturday from Vizcaíno Park.
According to a social media post from the department, KOE was last seen at the park and was wearing a brown collar at the time he disappeared.
The dog is described as a medium-sized black dog with lighter-colored markings on the legs and chest. Police shared a photograph of the animal and are encouraging residents to be on the lookout.
Anyone with information about KOE’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Marfa Police Department at 432-729-1841.
Officials did not immediately release additional details about the circumstances surrounding the dog’s disappearance.
The department said any information from the public could help reunite KOE with his family.
