Residents and visitors are invited to kick off the Independence Day weekend with an evening of softball, community spirit and Friday night fun during Presidio’s annual Fourth of July softball game on July 3.
Organizers say players of all skill levels are welcome to participate in the community event, which aims to bring together friends, families and neighbors under the lights ahead of the holiday.
The game is scheduled for Friday, July 3, as part of Presidio’s Independence Day celebrations.
Officials are still seeking players to join the game and encouraged community members to sign up in advance. Those interested in participating can call or text Maria Montoya at 432-248-4457.
Community members are also encouraged to attend, cheer from the stands and celebrate the start of the Fourth of July weekend together.
“Celebrate freedom, play ball and enjoy the community spirit,” organizers said in promotional materials for the event.
