The City of Alpine’s public swimming pool will officially open for the summer season on Sunday, June 7, welcoming residents and visitors back for an afternoon of swimming and summer fun.
According to the city, the pool will be open from noon to 7 p.m. on opening day. The seasonal reopening marks the start of summer activities for many local families as temperatures continue to rise across the Big Bend region.
City officials encouraged the community to “splash into summer” and invited families to enjoy the facility during the opening day celebration.
The pool, a longtime summertime gathering place in Alpine, serves residents throughout Brewster County and the surrounding area.
