Pecos County Community Action Agency to host Neighbor 2 Neighbor Resource Fair in Fort Stockton

The Pecos County Community Action Agency will host its “Neighbor 2 Neighbor” Resource Fair on July 29 at the Fort Stockton Convention Center, bringing together dozens of organizations offering community services and support resources.

The free event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort Stockton Convention Center, located at 2181 W. Interstate 10.

According to organizers, the resource fair is designed to connect Pecos County residents with local and regional organizations providing assistance, healthcare, housing, workforce development, family services and other community programs.

Participating organizations are expected to include the Fort Stockton WIC Clinic, Fort Stockton VA Outreach Clinic, Area Agency on Aging of the Permian Basin, Workforce Solutions, Fort Stockton Housing Authority, Midland College, Texas Department of Public Safety Driver License Division, American Red Cross and Community Care Services, among others.

Organizers said attendees can expect information on community resources, available programs and services, and support options for residents of all ages.

The event is hosted by the Pecos County Community Action Agency, which said the goal is to strengthen community connections and improve access to local support systems.
