Humanities Texas and the Nonprofit Management Center are inviting nonprofit, arts, cultural and educational organizations to attend a series of free grants workshops in West Texas this June, including a session in Fort Stockton.
The in-person workshops, presented in partnership with the Texas Commission on the Arts and the Texas Historical Commission, are designed to highlight funding opportunities and resources for organizations serving rural communities.
The Fort Stockton workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fort Stockton Convention Center’s Sunset Hall, located at 2181 Interstate 10 Service Road.
A second workshop will be held Tuesday, June 23, at the Nonprofit Management Center in Midland, located at 3500 N. A St. #2300, also from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to organizers, presentations will feature representatives from Humanities Texas, the Texas Commission on the Arts and the Texas Historical Commission. Light morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
The workshops will focus on grant funding opportunities and related resources for humanities, arts, cultural and educational organizations operating in rural areas.
Space is limited, and organizers are asking interested participants to register by June 12 to receive an invitation.
