The Alpine Public Library will host a Family Science Night for children in kindergarten through sixth grade on June 23, offering hands-on experiments, activities and pizza for attendees.
The event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. at the library, located at 805 W. Avenue E in Alpine. According to promotional materials, participants will be able to explore a variety of science-themed experimentation stations designed for families and young learners.
Planned activities include “Magnetic Madness,” “Tornado in a Bottle,” “Wind Tubes,” “Sublime Slime,” an illusion spinner activity, woodworking and chain reaction experiments, among other interactive stations.
The library said pizza will be provided during the evening event, which is geared toward children in grades K-6 and their families. For more information, residents may contact the Alpine Public Library at 432-837-0187.
