Reeves County Emergency Services Districts Nos. 1 and 2 are celebrating the opening of a new emergency services station in Balmorhea, calling the project a major milestone for public safety in Reeves County.
District officials marked the grand opening of Station 3 on Saturday, describing the facility as the realization of a long-term vision to improve emergency response and service in the region.
“This past Saturday was a truly monumental day for our Districts as we proudly celebrated the Grand Opening of Station 3 in Balmorhea,” Reeves County Emergency Services Districts Nos. 1 and 2 said in a statement.
Officials said the station represents more than a new building, describing it as a symbol of preparedness, growth and the district’s ongoing commitment to providing emergency services to county residents.
“Station 3 represents far more than just a building — it represents commitment, growth, preparedness, and our promise to continue providing the highest level of emergency services to the people of Reeves County,” the district stated.
The districts also thanked commissioners, residents, neighboring agencies, community leaders and supporters who attended the opening ceremony and toured the new station.
