A new summer activity program for children is launching at Kishmish Plaza in downtown Alpine, with Kid’s Kamp @ Kishmish offering games, crafts and supervised fun throughout June.
The camp will begin with a preview event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at Kishmish Plaza, located at 204 E. Holland Ave. Organizers say the preview will give families a chance to see the space and activities planned for the summer.
Kid’s Kamp will then run every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon beginning June 2 through July 1.
Children up to age 12 are welcome to attend. Drop-off service is available for children ages 6 and older, while children ages 5 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The cost is $10 per child, with activities and snacks included.
According to organizers, activities will include bounce houses, trampoline time, roller skating, movies and television, games, slime making, arts and crafts, and open space for summer recreation.
Kishmish Plaza, a longtime Alpine property reimagined as a Main Street event venue, also plans to host rotating themed kids nights on weekends. The venue is additionally available for birthday parties and private event rentals.
