Reeves County Emergency Services District Nos. 1 and 2 will celebrate the grand opening of Fire and EMS Station No. 3 in Balmorhea on Saturday, marking an expansion of emergency response services in Reeves County.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30, at the new station located at 209 Interstate 10 West in Balmorhea.
According to Reeves County ESD, the event will include an opening ceremony, station tours and refreshments as officials and community members celebrate the expanded fire and emergency medical services presence in the area.
In a social media post promoting the event, the district described the station as part of its “continued commitment to serving our community” and called the opening an important milestone for emergency services in Reeves County.
Residents and visitors are invited to attend the public event and tour the new facility.
