The Big Bend Youth Soccer Association has opened registration for its 2026 soccer season, inviting boys and girls from communities across the Big Bend region to sign up for fall play.
The league is open to children ages 4 to 17, including those born between Aug. 1, 2008, and July 31, 2022, according to registration materials released by the organization.
Association leaders said they are seeking players from throughout the region, including Alpine, Fort Davis, Marfa, Presidio, Marathon and Terlingua.
Registration opened May 20 and will remain available through July 15. The cost is $95 per player, with a discounted rate of $75 per child for families registering multiple participants. Scholarships are also available for qualifying families.
All teams will be coed, with first practices scheduled to begin the week of Aug. 24. The season’s first games are set for Sept. 12.
The Big Bend Youth Soccer Association encouraged families interested in volunteering, sponsorship opportunities or scholarship assistance to reach out through the organization’s website or email.
