Alpine ISD honors 2026 Teachers of the Year at year-end celebration

Alpine Independent School District recognized its 2026 Teachers of the Year during the district’s year-end celebration Thursday, honoring educators from Alpine Elementary, Alpine Middle School and Alpine High School for their dedication to students and excellence in education.

The district announced the awards in a social media post celebrating the educators and thanking them for their service to Alpine students.

At Alpine Elementary School, Ms. Iris Chavez was named Teacher of the Year. Alpine Middle School honored Mrs. Clinnell McComb as its Teacher of the Year, while Alpine High School recognized Mr. Aaron Hardwick as Teacher of the Year.

Hardwick was not pictured in the district’s announcement.

“Thank y’all for your dedicated, exceptional service to the children of Alpine!” Alpine ISD wrote in its congratulatory message.

The awards were presented during Alpine ISD’s annual year-end celebration, recognizing educators who have made an impact in classrooms across the district.

Alpine ISD serves students across the Alpine area and regularly honors staff members for contributions to student success and campus achievement.
