Front Street Books will host a meet-and-greet with children’s author Jacqueline Rousselow on May 25, featuring her book, “The Adventures of Roam & River: Our EXTRA-ordinary Life.”
The public event is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. at the bookstore, located at 121 E. Holland Ave. in Alpine. Organizers said attendees will have an opportunity to meet Rousselow and receive signed copies of the book.
According to event information shared online, the story follows siblings Roam and River as they explore adventure and discovery in everyday life, from backyard activities to stargazing and sports. The book emphasizes curiosity, imagination and a positive outlook.
Event organizers also noted that the children who inspired the title characters are expected to make a special appearance during the gathering.
