The first round of the City of Fort Stockton Economic Development’s Memorial Bench Program is nearly complete, with several personalized benches set to be installed at City Park in the coming weeks.
The benches feature engraved memorial messages honoring loved ones and community members. Photos shared by the city show multiple benches prepared for placement as part of the program.
City officials said the memorial benches are intended to provide both a lasting tribute and additional seating for park visitors.
