Fort Stockton High School’s Class of 2026 will host a senior sunset celebration and community watch party for UIL state track qualifier Eduardo Hernandez on May 14 at Panther Stadium.
The event is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday and will include a live viewing of Hernandez competing in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash events at the UIL State Meet on the stadium jumbotron. Running events are expected to begin at 5:30 p.m.
Organizers said the event will also serve as a celebration for the FSHS Class of 2026, with snow cones and snacks provided by the FSHS Student Council and local sponsors.
Sponsors listed on the event flyer include First National Bank of Fort Stockton, Memo Pacheco, Nueva Vida Church and Rivera Farms.
Community members are encouraged to attend the event at Panther Stadium to support Hernandez and celebrate the graduating class.
