Fort Stockton Independent School District is recognizing student artists whose work is now being showcased across the city in a unique way.
The district announced that three students from each campus were selected as winners in the Keep Fort Stockton Beautiful Art Contest. Their artwork has been transformed into large magnets and displayed on City of Fort Stockton sanitation trucks, bringing student creativity into neighborhoods throughout the community.
District officials said the project highlights the talent of local students while promoting civic pride and beautification efforts across Fort Stockton.
“We are so proud of all of our winners for representing Fort Stockton schools with pride, creativity, and excellence,” the district said in a statement.
The district also thanked Keep Fort Stockton Beautiful and the City of Fort Stockton for partnering on the initiative and celebrating student achievement in a highly visible and community-focused way.
The program allows residents to see student artwork in everyday settings, turning city vehicles into moving displays of local creativity.
