Fort Davis High School recently hosted two U.S. Border Patrol agents who spoke with students about career opportunities and a youth training program, according to the Fort Davis Independent School District.
Agents Secrett Wingard-Martinez and Cavin Moloney, identified as Border Control Agents in Charge of Border Patrol agent programs, visited the campus Tuesday to present information on the Student Explorer Program and careers within the agency.
School officials said the presentation generated significant student interest. The Explorer program includes a week of training during the summer and is designed to introduce participants to law enforcement-related skills and career paths.
