The Missoula Children’s Theatre will return to Marathon this month, giving local children the opportunity to audition, rehearse and perform a full production of “The Jungle Book” in just one week.
According to the Marathon Public Library, the traveling theater program will culminate in a free community performance at 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 15, at the Marathon Elementary School auditorium.
The residency model brings professional directors to the community, where they cast local students and guide them through daily rehearsals leading up to the final performance.
Admission to the show is free and open to the public.
