Far West Jiu-Jitsu Club is expanding its programming with the addition of a weekly yoga class, offering a new option for residents seeking fitness, mindfulness and community connection.
The class is scheduled for Saturdays from 9 to 10 a.m. at the club’s location on East Holland Avenue. Organizers say the sessions will focus on relaxation, flow and building confidence, complementing the gym’s existing martial arts training.
The yoga class will be led by a certified instructor and is open to participants of varying experience levels. A $15 fee will be charged for each session.
Far West Jiu-Jitsu, which serves the Alpine, Marfa and Fort Davis area, has built a following around its emphasis on self-improvement and community. The addition of yoga reflects a broader effort to provide well-rounded wellness opportunities in the Big Bend region.
Classes at the club are typically held Monday through Thursday, with the new Saturday offering creating an additional weekend option for those looking to stay active.
