Local officials in Coyame del Sotol are inviting families to celebrate Children’s Day with a slate of free activities, including cave tours, live wrestling and access to community pools.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, and is organized by the municipal administration for 2024–2027 in coordination with local tourism officials and community partners.
Activities will include guided visits to the Grutas de Coyame, a popular natural attraction in the area, as well as a lucha libre exhibition at Plaza Hidalgo beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Organizers also announced free admission to local swimming pools for attendees as part of the celebration.
The event is being promoted as a family-friendly gathering designed to bring the community together while highlighting local attractions and entertainment.
Municipal officials, the local DIF office and the tourism department are listed among the groups supporting the celebration.
