The City of Alpine Parks & Recreation Department is seeking community sponsors to help fund a planned mural project at the city pool as part of ongoing renovations.
City officials said the project would feature a custom mural designed by local artist Monty Welt, aimed at enhancing the visual appeal of the facility while creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment for residents and visitors.
According to the department, the mural is intended to promote community pride, highlight local art and serve as a lasting feature at the pool for years to come.
Parks & Recreation is inviting local businesses, community organizations and individuals to contribute toward the project. Sponsors may be recognized through on-site acknowledgments at the pool, mentions on the department’s social media channels and recognition at community events, where applicable.
Officials said the effort is part of a broader initiative to improve public recreational spaces and provide positive experiences for families in Alpine.
Those interested in supporting the project or learning more can contact the department at recreation.coordinator@cityofalpine.com or by phone at 432-538-2764.
